Learning Task 2: Group Précis – Due: February 24th
Assignment 2 – A group précis for one Week 6 reading. The précis needs to one page in length (single spaced with one inch margins, 12 point font, equaling approximately 500 words). Note that the reference list is not included in the page limit. Note that group grades will be given for Assignment 2.
Join a Learning Task 2 group by February 9th.
Work with group members to organize cooperative (individual) and/or collaborative (jointly authored) contributions to the précis.
Group members need to select a group leader who will post the final précis.
Group members need to ensure that the précis includes a critical review of their selected chapter. A critical review thoughtfully questions one or more premises of the argument in the chapter. Group members need to agree on a question to conclude the précis.
The précis needs to include a well formed APA-style reference list. Note that the reference list is not included in the page limit.
Each group member needs to contribute to authoring the précis.
Group members need to agree to and follow on a plan for responding to peers’ response(s) to the précis’ concluding question. Note that group members’ replies to peer response(s) will be separately assessed as a component of Task 1 activities.
